Xylitol – The Good Sugar

Are you familiar with xylitol? It’s the one sweetener that’s actually benefit for teeth.  Xylitol is a sugar alcohol that is found in the fibers of certain plants, including fruits, vegetables and grains. If you want to know why some gums, mints and sweetener alternative are labeled as “Dentists Approved”, it’s because Xylitol is beneficial in the fight against tooth decay.  It’s also naturally lower in calories than ordinarily table sugar.
